Approval To Restart LDA Vasantkunj Yojana To Benefit 1500 Allottees
More than 1500 allottees on Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) Vasantkunj Yojana who had been waiting long for possession in the Vasantkunj Yojana are soon to benefit after the state government has given the approval to restart the project.
The matter had been stuck for long because of disagreement with farmers on the compensation given against their acquired lands. However, LDA claims that now the matter has been resolved and they would soon begin construction on same.
LDA plans to give possession to over 1500 allottees of this project who had been waiting for long, besides making more than 5000 affordable houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the scheme. LDA vice-chairman said more than 2000 new plots and green spaces will also be created in the scheme.
LDA is planning big time to reclaim its old leased lands across the state capital Lucknow to be able to begin new projects both housing and commercial to be able to earn revenue on them. It has decided that all those Nazul lands whose lease has expired now will not be renewed but used for beginning new housing projects. LDA is also planning to re-develop these lands to be able to auction it to private developers for better construction.
Recently in the Investors Summit in Uttar Pradesh, LDA had spoken to many big companies which are interested in beginning real estate projects in Lucknow on the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It has already tied up with a private partner to develop Shaan-E-Awadh on patterns of Delhi’s Connaught Place, which is situated along Shaheed Path.
