Haryana Housing Board To Allot 7,533 Flats In 21 Estates In State
Haryana Housing Board (HHB) will allot 7,533 flats in its 21 estates in the State. For this, the Housing Board has extended the date for making applications for allotment by August 14, said the chairman of the board on Monday.
The families belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Below Poverty Line (BPL) could apply for allotment of these three-storey dwelling units which were being offered in Dharuhera, Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Karnal, Rewari, Sonipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Hisar, Kaithal, Ratia, Pinjore (Kalka), Gharaunda, Yamunanagar, Fatehabad, Bahadurgarh, Palwal, Ambala, Tohana and Narwana.
The allotment price of these flats is ranging between Rs 4.5 lakh and Rs 7 lakh depending on the site and location, he said.
The chairman said that while the applicant must be a BPL card holder for making an application under the BPL category, the annual income of EWS applicant should be up to Rs 3 lakh.
He said that the beneficiaries could also take Credit-Linked Subsidy Scheme benefit at 6.5 per cent under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). He could also get loan facility up to Rs 6 lakh from all nationalized banks and regional rural banks. The said loan would be available on easy monthly instalments up to 20 years.
Apart from this, the eligible applicants could also finance the earnest money for these flats from any branch of HARCO bank or District Central Cooperative Banks in the Haryana, he added.
Giving details of the dwelling units, he said that 127 flats would be allotted in Dharuhera, 314 in Sirsa, 656 in Kurukshetra, 543 in Panipat, 840 in Karnal, 150 in Rewari, 1040 in Sonipat, 933 in Rohtak, 58 in Jhajjar, 649 in Hisar, 570 in Kaithal, 86 in Ratia, 184 in Pinjore, 40 in Gharaunda, 201 in Yamunanagar, 356 in Fatehabad, 191 in Bahadurgarh, 70 in Palwal, 65 in Ambala, 337 in Tohana and 123 in Narwana.
He also urged the eligible beneficiaries to take advantage of affordable housing as well as an interest subsidy at the rate of 6.5 per cent on loan up to Rs 6 lakh. Application forms could be obtained from all Estate Offices as well as branches of HARCO and District Central Cooperative Banks, he added.
