DDA Aawasiya Yojana to push sale, show Flats to Prospective Buyers
Aawasiya Yojana 2017 flats being offered as a part of new housing scheme under Delhi Development Authority (DDA), the urban body has deputed representatives at various project sites to guide the visitors in order to facilitate visits by prospective buyers.
DDA Aawasiya Yojana 2017 rolled out on June 30 which offers 12,000 flats across four income categories HIG (Higher Income Group), MIG (Middle Income Group), LIG (Lower Income Group) and Janta Flats. The location of the flats are Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar and Siraspur.
Buyers can visit the flats, and can have a look at the facilities, out of the 12,000 flats, around 10,000 are unoccupied flats from 2014 Scheme, while 2,000 flats are lying vacant.
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) wants to make people comfortable about the features of the flats and the facilities being offered. Three-four housing sites are being visited by prospective buyers as told by the DDA Official. Draw of lots is slated to be conducted in the first week of November and will be streamed online. Last date for application submission is August 11.
Flats price range for HIG with 87 flats ranging from Rs 53.52 lakh to Rs 126.81 lakh; MIG with 404 flats ranging from Rs 31.32 lakh to Rs 93.95 lakh; LIG one-bedroom flats numbering 11,197 and ranging from Rs 14.50 lakh to Rs 30.30 lakh; and 384 Janta flats ranging from Rs 7.07 lakh to Rs 12.76 lakh.
The registration fee is 1 Lakh for MIG and for HIG flats 2 Lakh will be charged. The lock-in period clause has also been removed, as it was also a factor in buyers surrendering flats. People are free to visit the area where the flats are being offered.
