Andhra Pradesh CM Launched Bala Sanjeevani For Women

The Chief Minister launched Bala Sanjeevani as a pilot project to provide additional nutritious food and a special diet to 20,350 pregnant women, mothers and over 5,000 below six-years-old children in the district.

He also inaugurated digital classroom developed at a cost of Rs 2.5 lakh at Kotha Polavaram village in the mandal followed by the inauguration of Anganwadi centre constructed at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. The Chief Minister also inaugurated several programmes, including 114 housing complex, which was constructed at a cost of Rs.2.40 crore and NTR village park established at a cost of Rs.2.75 lakh in the village.

Chief Minister paid a visit to Gudivada village in S Rayavaram mandal and interacted with the locals. As a part of ‘Grama Darsini’ (village visit), he participated in the programme and enquired whether the welfare programmes reaching the beneficiaries or not and asked about the problems in the village.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that another 75 ‘Grama Darsini’ programmes are being planned across the state. To ensure transparency and good governance, he said that senior officials have been directed to move to the village to monitor and supervise the government programmes. During the past four years, the government has achieved several milestones and stood number one in Ease of Doing Business. The entire world is now looking at Andhra Pradesh, he added.

The Chief Minister announced a degree college to be established at Nakkapalle in Payakaraopeta Assembly constituency. While participating in various programmes in the constituency on Tuesday, he asked about the local issues.

The long-pending demand for a bridge on Varaha river also announced by the Chief Minister. The Revu Polavaram beach would be developed into a tourist attraction with beautiful landscaping and infrastructure, he announced.

Reminding about the birthplace (S Rayavaram) of Gurajada Appa Rao, he announced that the house of the Appa Rao would be developed at a cost of Rs 75 lakh. He said orders would be issued against all his announcements in the Payakaraopeta constituency.
