The government has come up with Special purpose vehicle (SPV) for constructing this city in Jakkampudi on nearly 265 acres of government land. In these cities people will walk to their offices in 10 minutes.

Expression of Interest (EoI) applications from various companies are invited to set up their units. Government will provide office spaces and houses for employees at low price. AP Government has received 438 applications from entrepreneur who are interested in opening their units in Jakkampudi.

From private individuals nearly 1200 acres was offered to the government to develop such walk to work town across the State.
