DDA Aawasiya Yojna 2017 Jahangirpuri is aimed at providing affordable housing to general public by disposing of about 12000 flats of different categories and in different location on freehold basis. About 10000 flats are for Lower Income Group (LIG). Most of the flats are have been constructed following the Green Building Code norms to reduce the Carbon footprint. Applicants can visit the locality/flat, to ascertain its suitability, before applying under the scheme. Jahangirpuri – Delhi

  • The Age of Applicant should be 18 years and he/she must be a citizen of India only then they can submit application Online or Offline.
  • Applicant must not own any residential flat or plot in urban areas of Delhi, New Delhi or Delhi Cantonment either in his/her own name or in the name of his/her spouse or in the name of his/her dependent relations including unmarried children.
  • One person can submit only one application.
  • Both husband & wife can apply separately, but if both are successful then only one can retain a flat.

Cost of flats varies from Rs 7.5 Lakh to Rs 1.44 Crore depending on the type and location. Rs 7.5-13L for LIG/Janta; Rs14-30L for LIG-one bedroom; Rs 31-93L for MIG; Rs 53L-Rs 1.44 Crore for HIG.

Allottee is liable to make the payment as per the demand-cum-allotment letter within 90 days from the date of issue of said letter without interest. The allottee may, however, deposit the demanded amount within 180 days from the date of issuance of demand-cum-allotment letter, along with interest 12% p.a. compounded as on 31st March. If the payment including interest is not made within 180 days, from the date of demand letter, allotment of the flat will automatically be cancelled. No show cause notice /intimation will be given by the DDA for cancellation. No time extension for payment beyond the date of automatic cancellation would be granted under any circumstances. Also no restoration would be allowed, once the flat is automatically cancelled due to non-payment. If the allottee fails to deposit the demanded amount within 180 days from the date of issue of demand-cum-allotment letter, the whole amount deposited on account of Application Money shall be forfeited and no refund will be admissible to the applicant.

All the allottees are advised to ensure that full amount including interest, if any, is deposited before the date of automatic cancellation.
Late submission of documents shall be regularized on payment of necessary charges as prescribed for delay in submission of documents. But no extension of time for making payment will be allowed under any circumstances.
