1000 Ready to Move in Housing Units in Delhi-NCR & Lucknow by NBCC
Ready to Move in Housing Units to come up in Delhi-NCR and Lucknow. NBCC (India) Limited, the government’s construction arm, is planning to launch over 1000 housing ready-to-move-in units this festive season which are going to priced between Rs 15 lakh to a crore.
The order book of the company stands at around Rs 75,000 crore and is likely to touch Rs 1 lakh crore in a few months. Around 700 ready-to-move-in units are part of the two projects in Gurgaon. These will be launched in the next 10 days.
National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd. is also planning to launch units in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Most of these units in Gurgaon and Lucknow will be in the price range of Rs 30 lakh to a crore.
NBCC is also planning to launch residential units in Loni during the festival season. These will be in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.
NBCC was currently concentrating on redevelopment works and affordable housing. Major redevelopment works secured so far included Sarojini Nagar, Nauroji Nagar and Netaji Nagar.
The company will come up with a World Trade Centre in Guwahati in Assam. This will be an iconic building and will be built at a cost of Rs 2500 crore. It will be completed in three years. The design has been finalized and work will begin in January next year.
NBCC is also exploring redevelopment opportunities in Tier 2 cities in Uttar Pradesh such as Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra and Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
NBCC is in the process of preparing a scheme for affordable housing on surplus land of Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) including integrated townships. A concept note on joint development and revenue sharing model has been submitted to the ministry of housing and urban affairs for Moula Ali land parcel of HMT Bearing at Hyderabad and HAL land parcel in Pune.
Company is planning to construct all building structures using advanced construction techniques. For this, the company has collaborated with companies in the US for 3D printing technology, Hungary and Poland. Using these new technologies it would just take about seven days to complete single storey houses. These technologies can be used for affordable housing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns and such constructions will be priced 25% les than conventional homes.
